Look of The Day 7.23.14
Hello, Glammers! Hope your day has been a-mazing! I’ve had a good one – just polished off one of my fav guilty summer pleasures – grilled cheese with tomato. You know it’s going to be a good day…
It’s Wear to Work Wednesday, and with that, I found this divine little belted sheath – and what’s not to love? The scooped neckline, while flattering on it’s own, could benefit from a statement necklace. The skinny belt? Well, skinny belts just happen to be my current crush. I also adore the color blocking – it’s slimming, provides pops of color, and helps the eye move along the look.
I’ve paired it with a classic mule and structured bag, which is my go-to bag at the moment.

It’s Wear to Work Wednesday, Glammers. Look at this yummy look I put together today. Chic grey pants, pink top and pink bling sweater. Almost a twinset without the matchy-match. You know I love heels, but couldn’t find one I loved, so today it’s flats. And I’m okay with that.

Good Morning, Glammers! It’s almost Christmas! If you celebrate, you might be trying to figure out what to wear for upcoming parties and gatherings. I’ve pulled 4 festive looks to try.
Of course, you know there are unique details – check the dress necklines and the sleeve of the McQueen. The wide leg of both pant looks will look great with a soft platform boot.

Look of The Day 12.17.13
Good Morning, Glammers! I missed you yesterday – I was at shoe school. I know, who knew, right? My big take away from the day is that hardware continues to be a trend moving forward.
Look for embellished shoes at every price point – and in every style.
Don’t like the color/shine of the metal but love the shoe? Hit up your local craft store – they should have something to help you out – either a tarnishing agent or maybe even something you can paint on (a gal yesterday had a pair of distressed boots on and said the hardware was super shiny when she got the boots – she scuffed the metal and painted it with a tarnisher and then wiped it off. Looked amazing!).
It’s time to have fun with footwear.

I’ve decided today’s LoTD is super slouchy and comfy. I blame my weekend of eating for sport (way to go, Thanksgiving!).

For me, one of the fun parts of this blog is that I get to troll the internets and tell the hubs, “I’m working!” During today’s trolling about, I discovered the new looks for fall 2013 are out @ Tory Burch. And she’s bringing back tweed – take a look see:

Ok, so maybe tweed never really went away, but did it ever look this fantastic? I’m not sure it has…The Kennedy Jacket ($450) is uber feminine, from the color to the cut to the tiny sequins. Tiny sequins!
The floral detail of the Vanessa Cardigan ($295) is a perfect companion to the jacket – while you should exercise some caution when mixing patterns, these just work.
The Miley Top ($195) is currently not available. Awww – sad face. Hopefully it will be available soon.
Curiously, I’m not finding the scoop on the pants – stay tuned. I’m on it.
