Good Morning, Glammers! It’s Thirsty Thursday! To celebrate, we are going to dinner at one of my all time favs – it’s a great spot right on the water. And they have fireworks every Thursday – sounds perfect, right?

So yes, I’m already looking forward to dinner, which is – about 9 hours away. Don’t judge.

I’m going to wear this cute chevron maxi. Doesn’t it just scream summer? I love the color combo and I’m still crushing on chevrons. I’m going to wear a tank in a little darker blue, just for fun. It has little ties on the side, too. Sooooo adorbs. I’m pairing it with the cutest flower flips and a statement necklace with my fav summer colors.

Helllooooo, Glammers! Hope you are well. It’s been a while! We took a lil beach vacay (yes, I know, I live at the beach – but still nice to get away).

This might be my new fav look. I’m wearing it right now – grey wide leg crops and girly pink tank. Don’t you just love how it nips in at the waist?

Look of the Day 7.11.13

First, it’s slurpee day – so let’s just talk about that for a minute…from what I understand, that means we can go get a free slurpee from 7-11. Free. Slurpee. Finish reading this post and then go get your slurpee.

Since it’s Thursday, and I’ll likely be thirsty later, I found a great outfit to wear to meet my friends for drinkys:

It’s a great look – you probably already have most of the components at home. I would add a chunky statement necklace (you knew I would) and some great bracelets. But truly, it’s almost perfect as is.

Look(s) of The Day 7.1.13

Happy July! In honor of July, and all it’s patrioticness, I thought it appropriate to take a look at a few options for the 4th of July. Now, I don’t know what happened to 1, 2, 3 – but let’s not dwell.

Look 4: Perfect for a day at the beach – the breezy top with peter pan color is precious with it’s detailing that will draw the eye to the middle. Paired with a red short and striped comfy flat, perfect! Add a chunky bracelet, delicate necklace with stars and you are set.

Look 5: I just love this. I would wear this if I were going to a bbq at my mothers. No really – any bbq. It’s stylish and fun. I might add a red flower pin to a strap to tie it together. Love the red shoes. The wedge is of the moment and the red patent is always a fun look.

Look 6: This is my favorite – It can go day/night and would look great no matter where you celebrate. Beach? Perfect. BBQ? Perfect. Parade? Perfect…The strappy wedge looks comfy. The statement necklace really adds that 4th flair, don’t you think? To mix it up, I might swap the pants for a wide leg white pant.

Bring on the parades, cocktails and fireworks…

Couldn’t Help Myself – A Second Look of The Day (with adjustments)

I just saw this as I was cruising around the www, and I just love the dress – how cute for a summer wedding! I just love the color and the beading detail along the scallops.

Not sure what kind of shoes are on this gals tootsies, but I’m pretending they are a delicate strappy sandal in a metallic to match the trim. And can we talk about this bag? Practical, certainly, but I’m not in love with it with this dress – I think it’s a bit too heavy for this look. How about swapping it for a soft unstructured metallic clutch? 

Overall, this is a “do”!

Look of the Day 6/29/13

This outfit has so many “do’s”. Let’s discuss…

First, of course, the maxi skirt – the chevron stripes are on trend for Summer but also slimming – who doesn’t want a slimming look?

Paired with the simple black tank and drop necklace make it a great look for brunch or a museum date.

And can we just talk about the bow details on the bag and wedge? I’m in love with bows. So girly and stylish. I love that this look has bows on two accessories – really ties the look together. Ha – ties…bows..Good one.

I adore the pinky top with the black skirt – stylish and sophisticated. Ladies – take a look a the hemline – a modified carwash . Love it. And the shoe/bag pairing is delightful. I wish we could get a look at the heel, but I am going to pretend it’s a kitten heel. That would make the outfit for me.

Would I wear it? Absolutely. It’s a fresh summer look that works for office, happy hour and brunch.
